Carleton Mobile App Re-launches for 2015/2016 School Year Image

Today was the first day of classes at Carleton University, and students were greeted with a brand new version of the Carleton mobile app to enhance their university experience.

In this new version, we have added some exciting new features to make student’s lives easier.

Grade Notifications

Gone are the days where you have to keep checking if your grades are in! In this new version, students will receive notifications to their phone as soon as a new grade has been posted.

Weekly Class Schedule

Students can now see their weekly class schedule in one view, rather than seeing just one day at a time.

Emergency Call

There is quick, one-click access to call on-campus emergency services in the event a student needs to call for immediate assistance.

Report On Campus Activity

Students can now quickly report any on-campus activity that concerns them

We hope all the eager students back in class will enjoy the new version of the app. Many of these changes came out of direct feedback from students, so we’re very excited to see them in use.

Of course, all previous features are still there including:

Grades
Payments
News
Events
Classes
Maps
Sports
Transit
cuLearn portal
And more!

We had thousands of students using the app yesterday and today, so it’s looking like a hit!
