In great news in the world today. 46 countries, including the UK, US, and the European Union have signed a treaty around AI. It’s a legally binding treaty to basically help protect humanity. And it’s something that Elon Musk and many others have been pushing for. This is one step in the process. So it’s a legally binding treaty. But there is self-policing, which is getting a lot of criticism, because, if you are policing yourself, in theory, you could cheat. But this is the first agreement among 46 countries. Getting 46 countries to agree on anything is very difficult. It’s just the first agreement. There will be more to come and they will build on it over time. So if this was the last step, the last agreement, well, it wouldn’t be very good, but I think it’s just a first in a series. With that in mind I think it’s a very good thing.
