Description

Push Interactions is seeking a creative and client-facing UI/UX Designer to lead the design of seamless digital experiences across native mobile apps (iOS & Android), complex web dashboards, and responsive websites. The ideal candidate acts as a bridge between vision and execution.

The work for this job is in person at our Saskatoon office. Relocation may be required before starting work.

You must have the ability to legally work in Canada.

This job is a permanent position.


Responsibilities:
  • Design and prototype intuitive user interfaces for mobile applications (iOS and Android) and web platforms.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
  • Create comprehensive user flows, and storyboards to communicate interaction ideas effectively.
  • Maintain and evolve the design system, ensuring visual consistency across all product lines.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Developers to ensure designs are technically feasible and correctly implemented.
  • Deliver high-fidelity design assets and detailed documentation for seamless handoff to the development team.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and accessibility standards.

Typical daily tasks may include:
  • Iterating on high-fidelity fully-featured mockups for a new mobile feature based on stakeholder feedback.
  • Leading design discovery meetings with clients to elicit design requirements, define goals, and uncover user needs.
  • Building interactive prototypes in Figma or Adobe XD.

Required Skills:
  • 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design for digital products (Web and Mobile).
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design and layout.
  • Proficiency in industry standard tools such as Figma and Adobe XD.
  • Proficiency in English with the ability to lead client-facing discussions and present design concepts clearly.
  • Understanding of platform specific guidelines such as Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and Google Material Design.
  • Proficiency in creating high quality animations and micro-interactions using tools like Lottie or similar.
  • Ability to translate complex technical requirements into simple, user friendly interfaces.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate design rationale clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
