Name & Position
Name: Ron Rambarran
Title: Regional Sales Manager
How long have you worked at Push?
I’ve been with Push since July 2015.
Why did you join the field of Sales?
I love being able to control my own income, meeting and cultivating relationships with people, and always having something different to do every day.
What type(s) of areas do you specialize in, any related experiences you want to discuss?
I’ve always gravitated towards all things technology related, having spent 2 years working at Telus in B2B sales I learned quite a bit about the mobile industry.
I would say my greatest strength is developing a strong relationship with my clients that is always grounded in trust. They know I wouldn’t suggest anything that wasn’t beneficial to their business.
It’s been an interesting experience moving over to the development side of of the industry and I’ve already learned quite a bit with much more to come!
What is your favourite thing about working at Push?
The team atmosphere, allowance for creative input, as well as the companies agility, and adaptability to new opportunities.
Lastly, I love having what is essentially a blank canvass to paint on. I’ve spent the majority of my career working for Fortune 500 companies with a very rigid set of products, pricing, and a very strict corporate mandate to work within.
It’s a totally different experience having a product that I can tailor to a clients needs rather than trying to find their one need that fits our product. It makes for very interesting and free flowing conversations, which is something I enjoy very much!
The only thing limiting me now is my own imagination and creativity.
What is your favourite thing to do in your spare time?
I joined the Silhouettes Steel Orchestra back in May of 2015 and it’s quickly become a passion of mine. Music has always been very near and dear to me, and playing it has given me an entirely new appreciation of the craft and dedication it requires.
I’m constantly trying to get better and catch up to my peers who’ve been playing the instrument for, in some cases, well over a decade.
I’m very proud to say I was selected to play on the front line for Pan Alive (steelband competition) this past Caribana and look forward to many more years with my band mates.
