How long have you worked at Push?
It has been two months that I have been working as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Push. I moved to Saskatoon and started here in August this year.
Why did you become a Quality Assurance Engineer?
I love being part of the Software Development Process as a tester to detect performance-killing bugs and delivering a robust product.
The process of ensuring the application works as per the client’s requirement and finding errors, specifically with the UI and user interaction, motivates me to deliver the product to the customers with a design-friendly style, and the ability to easily navigate around.
What type(s) of development do you specialize in?
I am a Quality Assurance Engineer, so my experience includes developing test plans, test case designs and test scripting based on Agile methodologies.
What is your favourite thing about working at Push?
Working collaboratively for a company which has raised up to this large scale with enthusiastic programmers in a fun environment has been a welcome change. I love that we are delivering our mobile apps to clients in an agile approach.
What is your favourite thing to do in your spare time?
Being up to date with open source tools and attending webinars about interesting technologies, Q&A forums and contributing to the issues raised in open source tools by giving back to the community.
