The Saskatchewan Health Authority is the single health region of the province of Saskatchewan. The Saskatchewan Health Authority is the largest organization in Saskatchewan, employing more than 40,000 employees and physicians. The Saskatchewan Health Authority is responsible for the delivery of safe, high quality health care for the entire province. It is a health authority providing direct and contracted health services including primary, secondary, tertiary and quaternary care, home and community care, mental health services, population and preventive health and addictions services to the people of Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan Health Authority Collaboration

Back in 2010 Saskatchewan Health Authority approached Push Interactions about building a mobile form of the popular RXFiles booklet. The app needed to be accessible offline and update the information anytime it connects to the internet. RXFiles is a booklet used worldwide for prescribing drugs to patients. Previously the RXFiles information was only available as a stand alone booklet and it was only possible to update the information through newsletters. We built mobile forms for both phone and tablet which also included other features such as searchable indexes. The RXFiles app has been a major success for the Saskatchewan Health Authority from the very first release in 2010.
