According to a recent report from Rentals.ca. Saskatchewan is the most affordable place to rent in Canada. With the list of other provinces all having higher rents across the board. See table and graph below from the full report which you can find here.
As you can see in the information above. Compared to for example BC and Ontario rent is half of what it is in those cities. Meaning that a tech worker’s paycheck goes a lot further. Even with a lower salary. This is one of the reasons that Saskatchewan is a desirable place to live including for workers in the tech field.
