One thing to think of when you’re ready to deploy to live. You should never deploy before a day when you won’t have your team available in case there’s any issues. And so, for example, you would never want to deploy on a Friday of a normal week if your team isn’t available on the weekend. Similarly, if there’s any holiday or something, you don’t want to deploy before a holiday. There should always be a working day the day after your deploy. Because things may occur even though you’ve tested everything thoroughly. There may be things that are unanticipated and you don’t want to be without your development resources to fix issues when the new release out there. So generally speaking the rule is don’t deploy before a holiday.
